* Description
* The goal of the program is to create a safe and fun environment where school age children with physical and/or developmental challenges can learn to climb. The children benefit from this program in a number of different ways - to have a fun and unique activity, to improve their upper and lower body strength, to improve their self confidence and coordination and to have an opportunity to meet their peers in the community. The volunteer plays an important role in this and must be mature, responsible and reliable as well as being kind, patient and committed. In addition to this they must be willing to complete a Belay and Safety Course at Crag X (2 hour session). The belayer is responsible for the cost of the course ($30-$45)
